About Amanda....
Amanda is currently studying a BMus Degree in Music, at The University of
Wolverhampton. She has achieved her Grade 6 Electronic Keyboard,
Grade 5 Piano and Grade 5 Theory of Music. Amanda is based around the
West Midlands.

Amanda has performed in a mixture of concerts and recitals. In these

groups. She likes performing a range of different styles of music from classical to modern.

At The University of Wolverhampton she participates in the University Choir,
the University Wind Band, The Band of the West Midlands Fire Service and
also in performances with different groups and bands. During the different
modules on her university degree she performs pieces as solo performances

Amanda has recently joined The Band of the West Midlands Fire Service.
She is learning and performing in the percussion section, this is mainly on the
tuned percussion instruments like the timpani, glockenspiel and the xylophone.
She regularly takes part in concerts that the Band take part in throughout the
year.

Over the years Amanda has performed at a wide range of different
places in the West Midlands. Amanda has been learning to play the Keyboard
since 2000. She has performed at the Dudley Festival of Music since
2004; at this event she has performed a range of styles of music
as a solo performer and also in duets.
